Division Of Process Steps For Filter Press Manufacturers

2026-04-09

The process of plate and frame filter manufacturers is divided into several processing stages for the entire processing process. It cannot be judged simply from the processing of a certain surface or the nature of a certain process. For example, the positioning reference of the workpiece needs to be processed very accurately in the semi-finishing stage or even the roughing stage, and it is common to arrange some roughing processes such as drilling in the finishing stage.

Division of processes

The process concentration of plate and frame filter manufacturers means that the processing of parts is concentrated in a few processes, but the processing content of each process is relatively large; the process decentralization is the opposite. The number of processes in the entire process is large, but the processing content of each process is relatively small.

The filter press has the characteristics of concentrated process.

① It is conducive to the use of high-productivity special equipment and process equipment, such as the use of multi-knife and multi-edge, multi-axis machine tools, CNC machine tools and machining centers, thereby greatly improving productivity.

② The number of processes is reduced and the process route is shortened, thereby simplifying production planning and production organization.

③ The number of equipment is reduced, and the number of operating workers and production area are correspondingly reduced.

④ It reduces the number of workpiece installations, not only shortens the auxiliary time, but also can process more surfaces in one installation, and it is also easy to ensure the relative position accuracy of these surfaces.

⑤ Special equipment and process devices are complex, production preparation work and investment are relatively large, especially converting new products is difficult.

The characteristics of plate and frame filter manufacturers are decentralized processes.

① The structure of equipment and process equipment is relatively simple, easy to adjust, and requires low technical level of workers.

② A more favorable cutting amount can be used to reduce maneuvering time.

③ Easily adapt to changes in production products.

④ There are a large number of equipment, many operators, and a large production area is occupied.

Process concentration and process decentralization have their own characteristics. When formulating a process route, whether the processes are centralized or decentralized, that is, whether the number of processes is large or small, mainly depends on the production scale and the structural characteristics and technical requirements of the parts. Under normal circumstances, when single pieces are produced in small batches, the processes are mostly concentrated. When producing in large quantities, high-efficiency machine tools such as multi-knife and multi-axis machine tools can be used to centralize the processes, or the processes can be dispersed and organized into assembly line production. The current development trend tends towards process concentration.
